SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS

We need volunteers to serve in the following positions:

POD LEADER - Lead a Pod of 5 students; Welcome Pod members, have breakfast with them, move your pod through their activities, give out awards and certificates.

INTERVIEWER - Conduct a standard 10-minute one-on-one college application interview with participants. Give them feedback. 

REVIEWER - Review participants' personal statement and resumes; provide feedback and help them re-write it. 

Help participants prepare to give their 1-minute pitch. 

SHOWCASE SPEAKER - Prepare an engaging 20min showcase of things you did and things you wish you did as a high schooler that have/could have impacted your success at what you are doing today. Be prepared for Q&A

ACTIVITY FACILITATOR - Develop a 30min practical activity related to branding and pitching and idea. Participants should be able to engage in the activity and gain a practical tool that will guide their success. 

AUDIOVISUAL - Manage AV, manage slides, play music during breaks, keep time for each segment. 

REGISTRATION - Welcome attendees, register students

JUDGE - Be a judge for business proposal pitches

ASSISTANT - Assist in any areas needed

• All volunteers MUST attend prep meeting on Thursday May 14 & Thursday June 18 at 7:30pm
